SQL Studio App Reviews
Terrible. Beginner mode.
Very very very basic. It is not usefull to me. Worse than my english.
I wanted to use on Japanese environment, but character corruption was occurred at result set. And SQL sentence could not match any row when there is Japanese character at WHERE clause. Probably it is result of character encoding mismatch, but this app seems like the settings is not implemented.
Meh
It is not perfect or good enough. need to be improved.
Not bad, but a lot of work to do
No icons, PK/FK, no Designer, only raw querys.
It’s cheap, it works and you can work with it. But it needs few adjustments to become 5 stars: - editor font is bad (it seems Arial), programmers needs fixed width font like consolas, courier new, etc. - to open a sql file you need too many actions: click +, file open, search file in directory, open. - cannot open multiple files in one shot - when open a file directories are not remembered by the tools, it starts every time from the program folder and you have to search you file again - cannot drag a .sql file into the tool and open it - cannot export the query result in Excel or CSV, or copy the entire results to paste them into Excel (see Sql Management Studio) Thanks, Dino.
I just downloaded this application and I am unable to connect to a single instance of SQL, no matter how I configure the connection, (host name, ip address, etc.). There are no connection error details provided. Even with the connection error, it still adds the server to your server list, but then will not allow you to delete it or modify the connection details. I will be requesting a refund.
Put it simply - this app would not even connect to a local Sql Server 2012 Express database. It claims that the database does not exist. Yet, the local Windows based sql client connects with exect same credentials just fine. Anny and all other features are worthless if one cannot even connect.
Pice of Crap!
totally useless, buggy and incredibly slow! cannot believe I paid $7 for this crap!
Useless app
Useless app, very clumsy interface. Not worth the money.
Horrible non-intuitive interface that is not at all Mac-like. Took me several minutes of guesswork after installing (finding complete lack of support for common things like an App Preference panel, etc.) to add a server configuration. After that was done, it connected okay (no verbosity or confirmation whatsoever). It does not organize things by schema, and when I double-clicked on a view (completely unsure of what this would do), it resulted in the program locking up for a full minute or two, then finally coming back and displaying the names and types of the 10 columns in the view. I continued attempting to use this for a while, but it is just completely unusable for any sort of actual work, and a complete waste of money. Just terrible, don’t waste your time or money on this.
Not Good
Can’t get the simplest task done, like getting the top 10 from a Table it will brake … So don’t waste your money it doesn’t work.
I have two databases hosted on Azure. When I add my server, I can see both databases, but can only connect to and query one. No detailed error message for the other, so I’m totally lost. I’ve tried explicity setting the database name as suggested, but still no luck. I also get repeated error dialogs (about 6 in a row) each time the connection fails. You guys are on the right track to having a great app, but come on, this can’t be called anything but a BETA. Please release an update with some critical bug fixes. Thanks.
Cant believe
Cant believe I payed for this. I just want to execute a query to return an xml data on a column. This softtware is truncating my data. Outrageous!!!

Does not work at all
