Charset setting is not implemented

I wanted to use on Japanese environment, but character corruption was occurred at result set.
And SQL sentence could not match any row when there is Japanese character at WHERE clause.
Probably it is result of character encoding mismatch, but this app seems like the settings is not implemented.
